Wool Smoking Cap
About this product
Smoking caps were used by some Victorians in a similar way to smoking jackets. Men of the gentry would wear them to cover their hair whilst enjoying their cigars and brandy to prevent any lingering smoky smell. In recent years however, they have been making a fashionable comeback as an everyday hat, disconnected from their history of smoky chinwagging in the Victorian drawing room. They also make an excellent choice of headwear for distinguished wizards and professorial types. Our smoking caps are handmade in Nepal from bright wool and eye catching Tibetan material.
