About this product

These bell shaped singing bowls have been made with a turned wooden handle to provide highly directional sound application. Rubbing the outside of the bowl creates a wonderfully sonorous and clear tone which can then be directed to specific parts of the body or hearing field. Made to a very high standard, they have great appeal for sound therapists and meditation enthusiasts as well as musicians and sound engineers.

Singing bowls from Nepal are made from five metals: copper, iron, tin, lead and zinc. The major components are copper and tin which make up the bronze alloy often referred to as ‘bell metal’. The other metals are present only in very small amounts.

Each bowl comes with a complimentary beater made from a locally grown tree near to where the bowls are forged called 'Haldu' or 'Haldina'.

Please refer to common inscriptions shown in images, which adorn many of these beautiful bowls. However, please be aware that each bowl is unique and may differ. If you have any questions about a unique singing bowls, please contact us.
