About this product

Each stole is unique and comes in various colours, meticulously woven by skilled artisans from Guatemala.

This fabric is known as Mish style, a very traditional weave in Guatemala. The material used in these specific stoles is made by an artisan called Julian Cua, born in 1953, who lives in Totonicapán. These fabrics were made using a foot loom and with the use of the foot pedals, they separate the threads and create each piece.

Its intricate patterns and rich, vivid colours reflect the cultural heritage and artistry of the Guatemalan people, showcasing traditional Guatemalan weaving techniques that highlight intricate geometric designs and symbolic motifs.

Perfect for clergy looking to enrich their vestments with a piece that speaks of faith, dedication and devotion. This Guatemalan stole is more than just an accessory - it’s a celebration of faith and artistry, blending traditional craftsmanship with contemporary style.
