This wonderful statue of Manjushri is made from copper and has been crafted by traditional artisans. Manjushri is a bodhisattva, a person on the path to Buddhahood. He carries in his right hand a sword that represents the ability of transcendent wisdom to cut through the veil of ignorance and obscuration.
