Dragon Tingsha - Naga
About this product
Charming set of tingsa embossed with a dragon or Naga, an important recurring symbol in Tibetan Buddhism. Naga are often held to have power over rainfall and are associated heavily with jewels and ornamental items. They are often also depicted forming a protective canopy behind or over a deity's head. Tingsa are two small cymbals that are used by Buddhists during prayer and meditation. The cymbals are generally joined together by a leather strap and produce a clear, high pitched ringing tone when struck together. This set comes presented in a beautifully hand made lokta paper box.
