Large Mudha Bamboo Stool

This large mudha bamboo stool is a traditional Nepalese seat, handmade using a sturdy core of recycled tyres wrapped in bamboo and finished with tightly woven, brightly coloured thread. Measuring approximately 39cm high with a 36cm diameter seat, it works perfectly as a low stool, side seat, or decorative accent, adding texture and colour to living rooms, bedrooms, or relaxed boho interiors.

Known locally as a mudha, these stools are a familiar sight across Nepal, valued for their strength, practicality, and distinctive woven design. The use of recycled tyres gives the stool excellent durability, while the bamboo and thread wrapping creates intricate patterns that vary naturally from piece to piece, making every mudha subtly different.
