About this product

These long mallahs are known as rudraksha in India and Nepal and are traditionally worn by people such as Hindu ascetics or sadhus. This is because they are believed to protect against negative energies and to aid people who spend a lot of time travelling around. These mallahs are usually strung with either 108 beads or 109 beads with the extra used as a marker bead to start on.

Origin: Nepal
